Cybersecurity Specialist

We seek a dedicated and skilled Part-Time Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. This role involves various cybersecurity responsibilities, ensuring the security and integrity of our clients' systems and networks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, be detail-oriented, and capable of working independently. This is an immediate need position, with the potential for onsite visits to client locations in Atlanta, Georgia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete Security Questions: Address and respond to security-related questions and concerns from clients and stakeholders.
• Review and Maintain Firewall Rules: Regularly review and update firewall rules to ensure optimal protection against unauthorized access and threats.
• Conduct Penetration Testing: Perform thorough penetration testing to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities within clients' systems.
• Conduct Vulnerability Scanning: Execute vulnerability scans to detect, assess, and address potential security weaknesses.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on firewall management, penetration testing, and vulnerability scanning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
• Availability to visit client sites in Atlanta, Georgia as needed.
